The positive progressive strategy is a quite simple concept as previously stated. When you win, you increase your bet. With each consecutive victory, your winnings increase. You need to learn to adjust your bets depending on whether or not you are winning or losing at the time. Increase when you are winning, decrease if you are losing.
This strategy is usually used while playing casino games, like roulette and blackjack, but can be used for many other games. Don’t be too eager to start increasing your bets. A number of gamblers make the mistake of increasing their bets before they secure any profits. This is one of the reasons some are dissatisfied with this strategy. If on a winning streak, this could be quite lucrative for you. Again, it cannot be stressed enough that this strategy will not influence your winning capabilities. It will, however, increase your winnings if followed properly.
We will use roulette as an example of positive progressive gambling. If your original bet was in the amount of $10 on red and you won, you would start increasing your bet by $10. Increase each consecutive bet while winning by the original amount. If red comes up five times, your winnings will total $150. Your first bet will bring you $10, the second will bring $20, the third will bring $30 and so on. By the sixth bet of $60 and you guess the wrong color, you lose that $60, but your total winnings will be $90. If you start out on a losing streak and you bet five times on black and red keeps coming up, you will lose only $50 because you are not increasing your bet each time. You win more if you are on a winning streak and lose less if you are in a losing slump. Again, a very simple concept.
There are many betting systems, but positive progression has proven itself as the better system if you intend to play for a limited time. Especially if you hit a long winning streak.
